Another Avalanche/Disney Challenge 'Snow Monster'. Only mine ended up being a tiger princess.... go figure.
Here's my feeble attempt at doing a 'Sparth' type of environment. He's so good.

This is a water bottle label that I created for Maverik's version of their 'Water for Sale'. I did the original sketch, it was then tightened up by Peter Sakievich and finished off by Myself and Blake Loosli. Although I think it's still going thru some more revisions.

Here's my painting of a Zombie Highlander which is one of the weekly 'Avalanche' challenges. The drawing is by none other than Joe Olson a fellow artist at Disney. I work there now as a concept artist and I am enjoying the company of such great artists.

A quick Painter study created just for fun. The photo reference was found on a photographers website and I would giver her credit because she had really great work only I can't remember what her name was. Tehehehehe

A little character sketch inspired by the character design in the film 'Spiderwick Chronicles'. I also played with a technic on this piece that is so well demonstrated by the great Ryan Wood and Todd Harris over at Avalanche. Check out their sweet blogs!

I've collected quite a few cloud photos over the years and I finally decided to do something with them. This one is a little color comp done in painter for fun.

A little cloud painting done in Painter with some brushes given to me by Peter Sakievich who "borrowed" them from Don Seegmiller. I am happy with the color scheme but the brushes ended up creating some really soft edges, so I took it into photoshop and tightened it up a little.

Here's a personal project I have been working on for a while. And by working on for a while I mean 5 min. once every two weeks for the past year, and three of those five are just remixing my oils again. Anyhoo, any comments for improvement on this are welcome, I am having a lot of fun using oils again but I still need a lot of practice.

A detail of the face that I've repainted for the third time. There still is a lot of work to be done especially on the likeness. These oil paints are tricky! There aint no command Z!
